This platform connects people who have found lost items—such as national IDs, passports, title deeds, academic and birth certificates, and phones or other electronics—with those searching for them. Finders can post details and photos of an item they've found, and owners can search for a matching item using identifying details.
When you post a found item, you confirm that the information and photos you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are not the rightful owner of the item. You agree not to post items you do not actually possess, and not to use the platform to facilitate fraud, extortion, or any unlawful activity.
Finders may optionally request an incentive, paid via M-Pesa once an owner successfully claims the item. A platform fee, shown to the claimant before payment, is deducted from the total amount charged to cover processing costs. Incentive and fee amounts may vary by item category and are subject to change.
If you believe an item posted on the platform belongs to you, you may initiate a claim by providing your contact details and, where applicable, completing payment of the incentive and platform fee. Submitting a claim does not guarantee that the item is yours; the platform does not independently verify ownership and is not responsible for disputes between finders and claimants.
We do our best to help match found items with their owners, but we provide no guarantee that a lost item will be found, that a match will be successful or accurate, or that a finder will hand over an item once a payment is made. Use your own judgment when arranging collection. All use of the platform is at your own risk.
This platform serves only as a connector between people who lost items and those who found them. We are not affiliated with, do not supervise, and do not participate in any actual handover, exchange, incentive payment, or meeting between parties. The platform does not endorse or verify the identities or activities of users beyond what is posted. All arrangements are between the finder and claimant directly, and you acknowledge that any interaction, exchange, or transaction is entered purely on the basis of mutual understanding and good faith between users. We are not responsible for the behavior, actions, or representations of any posters. Users are urged to exercise their own judgment and discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we take no legal liability and are not responsible for any direct or indirect losses, damages, disputes, claims, actions, or issues that result from the use of this service, including but not limited to interactions between users, items posted, claims made, or incentives or payments processed through the platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
